Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010, over 20 million Americans have gained health coverage. Despite these historic coverage gains and the numerous benefits extended to women because of the ACA, roughly one quarter of reproductive aged women remain uninsured. These women are often low-income or living in poverty, and more susceptible to experience homelessness. Across the country, the impact of homelessness on pregnant and parenting women is profound. This poster will discuss ways in which the Title V Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant may be able to help.
