Successful Avenues for Consumer Advisory Board Engagement

The Care for the Homeless (CFH) Consumer Advisory Board (CAB) is a robust operation that functions as the policy and advocacy arm of CFH, allowing for individuals who have experienced homelessness to become their own advocates. The presentation would be of interest to anyone wanting to gain knowledge on successful avenues for CAB engagement. For example, the Speaker’s Bureau, CAB sponsored activities (such as the Summer Solstice Success Celebration) that allow us to advocate for homelessness policies to a varied audience and advocacy opportunities at the local, state and federal levels.
